My name is Darkrai Darkurai.
I am most active during full moons... On such nights, I terrorize helpless human beings by plaguing their pathetic dreams with my awesome unwakeable nightmares...
Alas, everything has a weakness, and as such, my only mortal enemy is Cresselia. How she can smite my powers so easily with her powers of the Moon... It is unspeakable. Some day, I shall have a duel with her and prove that the Shadow of the Moon is dominant over the Light of the Moon.
I have become rather fond of Giratina, Lord of the Different Dimension. He is an outcast, as I am. He has a tendancy of straying through both realms often, inviting me to do whatever I please to those in his dimension... Giratina, you don't know my gratitude.......
I have heard word of Arceus, that he can be approached whence the Azure Flute is played, opening a portal to his Hall of Origin. Ever since he went into his slumber so many years ago, I have not seen him. Only during times whenever I am summoned, or in dire need, do I glimpse at his majesty. I am beginning to think he was captured by one of those... Trainers..... Disgraceful. And he created me... It is shameful to think he was caught. My only Master.......
Rayquaza has also caught my attention recently. I also heard he was captured by Team Rocket. He was one of the few who could actually stand to my powers. I will miss our feuds together.........
Lugia, the Guardian. You have disappeared since your disgraceful loss against Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno, and a close capture by a madman collector. I do not blame your current state of hiding, but I would not have fled my foes. Your power is tremendous, Lugia. How could you be so easily defeated?.......
Mewtwo. How much I have heard of you. A clone, if I remember right. And with a Special Attack greater than my own. It is unacceptable. I will haunt you when you sleep, Mewtwo, and summon you for a battle with me on Newmoon Island... One day, Genetic Being. One day.

This tale spans the years of my life. It tells of my thoughts... my trials... my personal battles. It speaks of many stories on the origins of creatures, places, and the World itself.
You will hear everything: from my rivalry with Cresselia, to the loss of the one I so loved, to the gossip of the Rising Trainer.
This is the life I know.
And it is the life I have come to accept.

A fanfic of a Pokemon I made... quite some time ago. I've been meaning to upload it, but put it off just because I needed a picture to go with it. Ehhh.
Why did I do this?
That's... not really too difficult to answer. I was bored, and at the time I found out a little something on MySpace: creating profiles for the sake of Pokemon character RP'ing. I got into the swing of things, and went to make a profile.
...Just one problem. Who would I pick?
There were dozens upon dozens of Pokemon I could've gone with, from Bulbasaur all the way to Arceus.
Taking a moment to sleep on it, I was caught between two: Mewtwo and Darkrai. Mewtwo, due to his dark personality (I felt I could "connect" with him better than other Pokemon), and Darkrai because... at this time, Darkrai was a newly-introduced Pokemon. I had yet to really like him at all.
Given that (and being there were already hundreds of Mewtwo profiles), I went for the malevolent Pokemon. I haven't regretted that decision since.
From there, I started these journal entries, what I called "Darkrai Darkurai: Entries of a Dark Heart". They originally started just for kicks; I never intended them to be taken seriously. But, as time went on, my writing spirit kicked in and I... or rather Darkrai... went through quite a bit of turmoil. Eventually, I went so into it, I started up a plot... and it's history from there.
For now, though, I want you to enjoy this little teaser; it contains nothing more than my Darkrai-space's description and an added tidbit.
If you're willing to pull through reading these... Darkrai hopes not to disappoint.
