I had no idea this deviation wasn't up until a recent run-through. Odd.

Anyway, under normal circumstances, this WOULD be accompanied by a lengthy, hour-long post, but given I lost that with this work before, I'm not about to try that now.

All I can say is, They are a memory to us. But like most memories, they will never fade.

Dr. Mario was recently released on both the Wii console and DSi with new games.

One of the creators of Roy expressed interest in remaking his game, after the commercial success of Marth's "Shadow Dragon" remake.

Young Link had a return to the limelight with the release of Majora's Mask, to commemorate an event of so many Virtual Console releases. He will also be reappearing in the highly anticipated Ocarina of Time 3DS remake.

Pichu has become all the rage again, both with fans and GAME FREAK promotions, and is the returning heir to the 2nd Generation mascot upon the introduction of Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Mewtwo was put into a major role in the WiiWare title Melee! Pokemon Scramble, being the lead boss/villain of the game of both the 1st AND 4th Generations, made his debut in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver (while formally not being in the originals), and is the final boss of the most recent Pokemon Ranger installment.

Gone? Yes.
But forgotten? Certainly not.

Continue to fight, and the walls surrounding our cries will eventually crumble... and the voices will be heard at last.
